This is kinda like my Captain's Log. I like to keep record of the progress I make each day and what I hope to accomplish the next day. Not only does it help me keep track of where I've been, where I am, and where I'm going, but it also gives you access to what's new each day without having to comb through the whole site.
My time was a little more limited today because I had freelance work in the morning and the bank work at night, so I squeezed this in.
My first order of business was to fix the domain name. It was pointing to an error page - well, to an old page that is no longer on the blog. I kept checking my GoDaddy domain settings and the Blogger settings and could not figure out how to get this fixed. It took me about an hour and some good chat time with Chat GPT to figure out that it was an error redirect page that had the wrong URL. I finally got it fixed, so WendiLynn.com now goes directly to my home page.
My second order of business, which took me right up until time to clock in at the bank was to create the content for the Wheel of the Year page. Not only did I craft the content for the pillar post (each holiday will open into a long-form article of its own), but was also able to shop ideal products to feature on that page. That took me about 2.5 hours.
That's my progress for the day and I'm pleased with it. Tomorrow's goal will be to do the post on the days of the week, and since that's a short one, I may create the door images and entry points for the Earth Magic section, which will feature herbs & Plants, Crystals & Stones, and Essential Oils.
I haven't figured out a format for these "What's New" posts yet, but I will. :)
