Enchantmonths is an idea I’ve been working with since about 2005. I wanted a way to direct my attention specific to each month, like a laser-focused lesson plan. I wanted a sneak peek at all of the month’s magical energies and correspondences at a glance, so I could lay out my month in with goals, journaling ideas, crafts, and recipes that align with the month’s vibe.
Each edition includes the sun’s astrological movement, moon phases for the month, magical correspondences, such as herbs, flowers, crystals, animal magic, folklore notes, a recipe, and a craft. I will be building each of these months into its own article, starting with July, since that’s where I began this portion of the website (which gives us two weeks of prep time to gather supplies and materials before the new month arrives) until the year is complete.
January

You may feel called to assess the shape of your inner world and begin placing ideas into a framework that will support them later. This is the architecture phase, where outlines form without the need for decoration. Patience gains strength here. Discernment becomes valuable. In this season, wisdom often arrives through reflection, solitude, or simple acts that bring you back to yourself. January does not ask for performance. It invites intention. This is a moment to walk slowly, to listen inward, and to remember that real beginnings are often invisible at first.
February

This month encourages a soft gathering of energy. It is not quite time to bloom, but there is value in preparing to rise. Ideas may feel fragile, but they are gaining shape with each passing day. In this space, you are offered the chance to test your readiness—spiritually, emotionally, even creatively. What stirs within you now has potential, but only if it is met with care and presence. February offers a window to refine, adjust, and listen more closely. It suggests that alignment begins before momentum, and direction takes root in the choices you make when no one is watching.
March

Raw Aquamarine on Amazon |
This is the season of returning. Not just of life to the land, but of clarity to the self. What has been buried begins to rise. Desire takes shape. Dreams begin to whisper louder than fear. March calls for courage, for steady steps, for a willingness to meet the unknown with hands open. There is power in this moment—not the kind that demands control, but the kind that honors momentum. March is not fully spring, but it leans in that direction. It reminds you that change rarely waits for permission. It begins when you begin.
April

Beneath the budding surface, there is trust. Trust in the process. Trust in the cycle. Trust in the work done quietly during the darker days. April reminds you that it is safe to emerge. Safe to soften. Safe to desire. This is a month for nurturing early movement, protecting fragile ideas, and welcoming beauty as a teacher. There is no need to rush toward full bloom. April honors the in-between stages and values presence over perfection. Each action taken now lays the foundation for what will thrive later.
May
![]() |
Raw Emerald on Amazon |
There is also sensuality in May. A richness of color, sound, and sensation. Creativity flourishes when attention is placed on beauty and embodiment. This is a season of attraction, of magnetism, of letting your presence speak clearly. May supports connection—with others, with the land, and with yourself. It teaches that growth does not always have to be hard-fought. Sometimes it happens simply because conditions are right. When you allow yourself to receive the energy available now, progress becomes a natural unfolding. May opens the door to joy, and asks only that you step through it.
June

Raw Pearl on Amazon |
There is a deeper wisdom underneath the celebration that June brings. It encourages alignment between action and purpose. When everything around you is in full expression, this is your chance to meet that energy with clarity. Joy becomes more sustainable when it is rooted in truth. June is generous, but it also highlights where your time and energy are best placed. If you are willing to pause and look with honesty, this month will help you adjust with grace. There is a window here to center yourself within your own story and decide how you want to move forward.
July
![]() |
Raw Ruby on Amazon |
This is also a time for sustaining what has been created. July is not about starting new things. It is about tending, protecting, and refining what already exists. When the sun stands high, shadows are easier to see. This month may reveal what needs care or release. The clarity it brings can feel intense, but it is also illuminating. There is strength here, a capacity to face truth and still choose growth. July teaches resilience through presence. It offers a chance to fully inhabit your path and walk it with intention.
August
![]() |
Raw Peridot on Amazon |
There is also a quiet strength in August. It offers the chance to gather wisdom from experience, to reflect without urgency, and to prepare for what comes next. Even in stillness, there is movement. August teaches you how to let go without rushing, how to release while honoring what has been. It is a time for appreciation, adjustment, and realignment. The energy here supports presence with perspective, helping you see the full arc of your efforts and carry their lessons forward.
September
![]() |
Raw Sapphire on Amazon |
September arrives with perspective. It marks the beginning of a shift inward. The external world may still appear bright, but the inner world starts to deepen. This is a month of reflection, of sorting through what has been gathered and deciding what to keep. There is a gentle pull toward structure and preparation. September supports clarity, but through observation rather than urgency. It invites you to witness your life with honest eyes and ask whether your current direction still serves your true self.
There is a refinement in this energy. A desire for order, for intentional rhythm, for meaningful structure. September is not about control. It is about alignment. When you begin to see the pattern of your choices, you can start adjusting them in a way that feels steady and true. This is a month to set things in motion that will carry you through the next cycle. There is both release and invitation here. September guides you to clear space and create systems that support your deeper becoming.
October
October carries the weight of mystery. It is a time of thinning veils, of deeper listening, of walking between what is seen and what is felt. The air feels charged with memory, story, and ancestral presence. October is not here to offer certainty. It is here to awaken your inner sense of knowing. This is a time to tune in, to honor the unseen, to connect with what lives in shadow and silence. There is reverence in this month. A natural leaning toward reflection, ritual, and remembrance. October holds both beauty and decay, and it teaches that both have purpose. This is a time to listen to dreams, to symbols, to the quiet voice that speaks beneath your surface thoughts. What is revealed now may guide you more than any plan. October allows for transformation through awareness. It offers the gift of seeing clearly through mystery and walking forward with deeper trust.
November
![]() |
Raw Topaz on Amazon |
There is a soft strength here. A kind of resilience built from letting go with grace. November teaches that shedding is not failure, and stillness is not stagnation. This is a sacred part of the cycle. The soil of your spirit is being prepared for rest, and from that rest, future growth will rise. November invites presence with endings, trust in transitions, and peace with the unfinished.
December
![]() |
Raw Turquoise on Amazon |
There is magic in this closing chapter. Not in the noise of celebration, but in the depth of presence. December encourages stillness with purpose. It is the elder of the year, carrying the wisdom of all that came before. This month offers a space to finish with intention, to gather what has been learned, and to begin imagining what could rise from the ashes. It is both an ending and a seed.
